Recently, one customer hired a truck to take delivery of the goods from G-High. After finishing the loading of goods, G-High guards found that the truck driver was about to leave the plant without covering the goods.
G-High guards reported this situation to G-High Business Department immediately since it was about to rain.
According to G-High Goods Delivery Standard, if G-High are responsible for hiring trucks, we require the drivers to cover the goods before leaving the plant in order to guarantee the moisture content of goods is free from the influence of rain or snow during transportation. Otherwise, the trucks are not allowed to leave the plant.
In this case, though the customer was responsible for hiring the truck, G-High Business Department were afraid that the moisture content would increase if the goods were exposed to rain directly, and the customer might suffer loss due to this. G-High sales manager communicated with the customer about this situation immediately. The customer posed the requirement of covering goods to the driver and also requested G-High to help them supervise the qualified covering of goods.
At last, the truck driver bought back tarpaulin. Only after the driver covered the goods well with tarpaulin, G-High guards let him go. After around half an hour, it rained heavily. When the customer received the goods, he did find that they were many raindrops on the tarpaulin outside, but the specifications of goods were qualified.
